Oyster farm & bay tour. Mid morning or an afternoon affair. The new tour boat is ready for you to relax, recharge and refresh. The farmer is your host. Explore the waterways of Coffin Bay and visit an oyster farm for fresh oyster tastings plucked straight from the ocean before your eyes. Stop to appreciate seals and dolphins if they appear.

Experience Coffin Bay Short & Sweet Tour (75mins)

Visit the waterway adjacent to the Coffin Bay township. Visit the Kellidie Bay oyster farms and the original farm, cruise around the Coffin Bay township waterway. The oyster farmer is your host. Enjoy farm fresh oyster tastings.

Experience Coffin Bay and Eyre Peninsula Forage and Feast (6hrs)

The Eyre Peninsula – Australia’s Seafood Frontier. When you come to the source you want to feast on the freshest and best. Coffin Bay and surrounding areas has amazing seafood and what is seasonally available we will capture fresh. What we can’t we will source and have on board for you to enjoy.

Coffin Bay's Scuba Co. is the first scuba diving operation offering tours and guided dives of Coffin Bay, one of the safest places to recreationally dive on the Eyre Peninsula.

Coffin Bay Scuba Co. offers marine-life-based "eco" tours of the reefs, shipwrecks, and seabeds within the bay and surrounding areas that are safe, fun, and educational. Tours are available for certified and non-certified divers.

You will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the unexplored wonders that live beneath the surface of Coffin Bay, as well as the unique opportunity to participate in Oyster Reef Restoration with their team of conservationists.

Wearing waterproof waders, we wade out into the water, and sit at our semi submerged tour deck ‘The Salt Water Pavilion’ which is located right in a working commercial Oyster farm. While your feet dangle in the water and the salty breeze blows through your hair, you’ll hear from the Oyster Farmer himself (Ben) about how oysters grow, a bit of history of Coffin Bay and Matthew Flinders as well as learn about Oyster farming practices. It is a little bit educational, and a lot of light hearted fun, AND you’ll learn a new skill. We will give you a hands-on shucking lesson, so you can learn to open oysters yourself like a pro, and best of all you get to taste the freshest and most famous Coffin Bay Oysters you’ve ever tasted, straight out of the water! A very unique culinary experience and an epicurean adventure!
